The Bad Boy/Mysterious Dude: i.e., Drake, Damien, Jax, Jake, Zig, Kenji, Michael, Flynn, etc. Usually has some scruff, greasy-looking hair, a mysterious past of some sort - usually the fan favorite love interest.

The Sweet Guy: i.e., Liam, Chris, Adrian, Sean, Grayson, Caleb, Wyatt, Seth, possibly Hayden, etc. Often is the love interest pushed on you. Personality traits tend to be similar - hard worker, nice guy, has morals, etc.

The Friend: i.e., Lily, Emma, Hana, Kaitlyn, Quinn, Holly, Maxwell (a rare male Friend), Teja. Tends to be the main character’s closest friend figure, but is also a love interest.

The Mysterious Woman: i.e., Eva, Estela, Ava, Kamilah, Eleanor. Doesn’t tend to get a lot of screentime, is the Bad Boy/Mysterious Dude but female and tbh a lot cooler. Usually has a mysterious past, ofc, and often wants ‘revenge’ for something (see Eva/Estela.)

The Go-Getter: i.e., Becca, Victoria, Maria, Lucas, James, Aiden, Andy, Nick. Has a goal in life and will do anything to further that goal, for the most part. The girls tend to be kind of bitchy, the guys a bit closed off.
