can you imagine meeting this human who’s the first one you’ve decided to let keep their memories, going through a vampire slaughter and subsequent wrongful imprisonment with them, bringing them to the house you built for your wife and child hundreds of years ago with your bare hands, sleeping with them, and then telling them that you care about them only for them to, like, shoot you some finger guns and tell you that they are “just doing their job”?
