i like how in most choices stories with adventure/action elements, the mc is always seen as the highest grade threat out of everyone. not because of their physical prowess, but because of their ability to socialise and sympathise with anyone, to motivate even the grouchiest cynic to serve their goals, to be liked by basically everyone.

and honestly? what a power. if i’m gonna be dangerous, i hope i’m dangerous because of how much people like me and are willing to be ride and die with me.
